Marketing isn’t just about selling goods and services, and it never has been. That might sound like a radical statement, but think about it. The best salespeople know how to sell themselves by being likeable and starting conversations. Conversations lead to relationships. Relationships lead to trust. And trust leads to business. The same is true for email marketing. It’s how well you keep conversations going that makes the difference between success and failure. This month, we thought we’d use our enewsletter to talk about how to make your enewsletter stand out from the crowd.
First, let’s talk about why email marketing is so important. One of the main benefits of an enewsletter is that it keeps your brand regularly in front of current and potential customers and referral partners. Think of it this way: there are millions of people on the verge of needing in-home care services, but they don’t realize the need for it yet. When they do finally recognize the need for care for themselves, a loved one, or a client, your regular enewsletter with informative, useful information, will position your agency as a go-to for answers and assistance. Enewsletters have other benefits too, including:
- Being a cost-effective form of promotion
- Helping you build a following by consistently offering valuable content
- Increasing traffic to your website and social media channels
- Allowing you to track data easily and measure response rates
So, how can you ensure that your enewsletter gets seen among the inbox clutter? Click here to find out!

Hear Merrily Orsini Speak at HCAOA
The HCAOA Annual Leadership Conference is September 27-30, 2015 and guess who will be there? That’s right, the corecubed team will be rocking the HCAOA conference once again this year, and we’re hoping to see you there!
This year's conference is being held in Washington, DC, where our country's founders worked, and, appropriately, the founder of home care marketing – our own Merrily Orsini – will be presenting at the conference. Her presentation, entitled "The Psychology of Home Care Buyers & Referrers: Why Content Marketing Works Wonders" will cover how the psychological buying path of a person seeking in-home care services for a loved one is far different from the psychology of someone wanting to purchase dry cleaning, window washing, landscaping, and so on.
Orsini will also discuss the different psychological processes at play for those professionals who refer in-home care services to their clients. This session will detail the typical buying journey of the home care consumer, as well as explore the psychology behind why professionals refer certain home care agencies over others. Attendees will learn how to engage consumers and referrers at each stage of the buying journey to win their confidence and the sale with proven content marketing techniques.
Don’t miss Merrily’s presentation on September, 29, 2015 from 9:00-10:30 AM. Learn more about the HCAOA Conference and find out how to register here.
