Kashmir Earthquake Relief

Assalaamu Alaykum,

HHRD Pakistan's Emergency Response Team is on location at the epicenter of Tuesday's earthquake in Mirpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir where a total of 38 people have been killed and close to 700 injured. Reports from the team highlight the tremendous impact of this earthquake as a total of 11 aftershocks have been reported.

Destroyed homes

Due to the level of destruction homes are inhabitable resulting in families frantically seeking shelter.

HHRD Team Has Provided:

400 Tents

400 Mosquito Nets

2,000 Bottles (6 liters) of Water

Helped: 738 Families

Water Distribution

HHRD Pakistan's Emergency Response Team distributed 2,000 six liter water bottles to earthquake victims who lined up immediately for assistance.
