There is the story of the kindergarten teacher who asks a child what she is drawing. “I’m drawing a picture of God,” the child replies.

“But, sweetheart,” says the teacher, “no one knows what God looks like.” They will in a minute!” says the child.

Now, that is a perfect example of Thinking BIG !! Do you also have an inner voice that asks “why not…?” and “what if…?”

Are you using your talents to SEE the 'unseen' or create the 'uncreatable'?

"Thank you for continuing to filter through the garbage money info and news floating around out there on the inter-web. Your filtering and curated links are some of the best I've seen. I'm getting something useful from every issue. New intrigued subscriber." -Jason Vankirk

If you like Dallas Maverick's basketball owner, Mark Cuban, for his straightforward, home-spun, keep-it-real approach, then you'll like his 13-min Q&A video. Organized by the WIRED YouTube channel (who, by the way, is putting out some great stuff), Mark gets down to bidness answering common questions about... well... business and being a mogul.

"Technology has evolved. There’s more data available than ever. Quantitative investing has automated many of the successful strategies of the past. Costs have come down considerably. And there are probably more intelligent people than ever looking for an edge in the markets." That from Ben Carlson who wonders where all the super traders are these days. [Note to Self: Reach out to him this week to let him know we here at M4 know of several; they just don't care for the limelight. Nor do they need it]

Now this is quite cool. A list, a rundown of who owns the most land in America. "The top 100 private landowners have property in 39 states for any number of purposes—investment, conservation, tax benefits or just the bragging rights that come with owning big pieces of America. This map shows approximately 35 million acres of their holdings, or 87% of the total, across 31 states."

“My community reached out to me. They wanted to know how to navigate the stock market. I had my network search all over for prospective traders who had a track record of teaching others. After narrowing down the list, I knew I wanted to work with Jason Bond. It wasn’t just his performance that caught my eye. It was his member’s returns that I couldn’t ignore!”

Oh boi.... the dreaded 'D' topics. The former, well, we still think it's important to curate a few key articles about it (here). The latter I think is just cool 'cause it's close to Halloween. But, as Brian O'Connell points out, "knowing what happens to your debt when you die likely won't be a top dinner table conversation tonight. After all, death and money are taboo subjects on their own, let alone together." Still, it's never too early to know who handles your debt when you're off into the ethereal blue yonder.

"Everything you do online is tracked, logged and studied by someone, either through advertising or more malicious means. Being watched is an unpleasant feeling; it’s gotten to the point where even my 'I have nothing to hide' friends are growing uncomfortable with the whole thing." I hear ya Thorin, which is exactly why I've had four of your five recommendations employed for some time. All but the last one (I'm still looking for the Oliver North deluxe model).

Quote of The Week:

"Invest in making yourself a better version of who you were yesterday. Be more courageous. Try new things. Stay humble. Take time for fun! Make new friends. Always be curious. Surround yourself with people who are smarter and more successful, people who can teach you something." - Catalin Zorzini
