2017 Kosta Browne
"...linear and vibrant. Energetic."
"...a profound Chardonnay that will stand beside the finest white Burgundies." - Jeb Dunnuck
Kosta Browne is a Sonoma-based boutique winery that specializes in single-vineyard Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. From its initial humble beginnings over twenty years ago when it was created by two friends pooling their restaurant tip money to make one barrel of wine, it has rapidly ascended to cult status with multi-year long waiting lists to be afforded an opportunity to directly buy their wines. Focusing solely on the great Pinot appellations in California, their grapes are sourced from vineyards that are located in some of the prime places in the Anderson Valley, Sonoma Coast, Russian River Valley, Santa Lucia Highlands and the Sta. Rita Hills.
We are excited to be able to offer limited quantities of their 2017 One Sixteen Chardonnay and the Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir as these are truly world-class offerings that exemplify the pinnacle of CA Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Chardonnay: "Aromas of rose petal and creme brulee with hints of cantaloupe skin and coconut nibs. An expansive and rich mouthfeel with flavors of ear and notes of peach crisp. Precise and tactile."
Pinot Noir: “Aromas of forest floor with blackberry, Bing cherry and bramble fruits. A hint of Rosemary. On the mouth, thoughtful and focused. Intense dark fruits with notes of blackberry and blueberry.” - Winery Notes
GVWM is pleased to have limited quantities of both of these luscious beauties in stock, ready to ship and priced up to 17% below market average!
